Nissan Leaf Unveiled

In the tradition of making environment-friendly cars, Nissan recently released the “Leaf”. The car maker has especially made the Leaf to “purify our air by eliminating emissions from the driving experience” a bit similar to what a tree’s leaf does for the planet. The Leaf was unveiled in Nissan’s new headquarters in Yokohama, Japan.

The Leaf is associated with the Ford Fusion Hybrid and with other green cars. As an attempt to achieve a world of zero emission, green or environmentally friendly cars is a big help to the growing global campaign for a greener Earth.

Nissan Leaf is a sleek five-passenger electric hatchback with a claimed range of 100 miles. Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn wants Nissan to be the first to bring mainstream EVs to the market.

As of now the price tag for the Leaf is yet to be announced, but Nissan promises that it will be the first affordable and practical electric car. It could be out as early as next year.
