Had to wake up very early yesterday (around 4:30am) to head off to Subic for the first Sampaguita TV Auto Rally. It was my first time to join such a competition with over 60 cars from 13 brands involved.

Last Saturday, we took the Honda Challenge Cup — a friendly competition on driving a Honda car to get the most fuel-efficient ride. I missed the earlier event a couple months back intended for the media people so I got slated for this last one.

When I was invited to join the trip to Bohol by Honda Cars Philippines for a media test drive, I hesitated at first because I know very little about cars. They knew I’m mostly into tech and gadgets so my impressions of the new Honda City would come from that perspective.
