Driving
Parallel Parking for Newbie Drivers
0Since this blog is about cars, i want to inject some tips and techniques about driving intended for newbie drivers. I prefer myself as a newbie driver even though i had my driver’s license 2 years ago. Reason: I don’t have my own car (yet) . I can only drive a vehicle when someone asked me to like my good ole buddy boss yuga. I don’t have problems with that at least i can hone my skill in driving. But the only thing that irks me the most is Parallel parking specially when driving Vans or SUV’s. So i would to share to newbie drivers the simple technique i found on the web.
Here’s a simple technique in parallel parking :
A: Stop parallel to the parked car. Check if it’s O.K. to reverse. watch for th con of the parked car in the side window
B: turn the wheel to the left one full turn. Continue when safe. When the ends of the cars align, turn the wheel fully to the right.
C: Now you are close to the kerb and the parked car. Very slowly take off some of the right lock so you don’t swing in too far.
D: If needed you can move forward and backwards to straighten up.
